Sponsors and exhibitors are invited to showcase emerging technologies, services, and legislation that promote bi-national sustainability.
Each conference date will end with a reception and networking opportunities among conference participants. Benefits include branding, marketing, speaking engagements, community outreach, leadership, and partnership building.
Sponsorship proceeds help fund the 2020 Binational Sustainability Conference and the National City Chamber of Commerce Green Business Program. Our goals are to promote sustainable business practices through the FREBE (Free and Reduced Energy Business Evaluations) Program, promote legislation and policies that support sustainable development and innovative technologies, and conduct outreach and education activities to scale impact to community members including businesses, residents, and visitors in the San Diego – Tijuana region.
Green Business Program Success
In 2019, the chamber building received LEED ® Platinum certification for Existing Buildings in Operations and Maintenance (O+M). It was granted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) – the highest rating possible – for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The NCCC is one of the two chambers of commerce worldwide that hold LEED Platinum Certification, according to the LEED project directory.
